He needs to get his a** in the film room! Tom Brady gives priceless advice to Deion Sand

Shedeur Sanders has taken college football by storm this year. Following his father, Deion Sanders from Jackson State to Colorado earlier this year, Shedeur has balled out so far, throwing for 1,251 yards, 10 TDs, and only one interception. He and the Colorado Buffaloes are 3-0 this season after the team went 1-11 last year. Shedeur joined the Buffs earlier this year after his father became the HC. Now, he receives an invaluable piece of advice from the former NFL quarterback.

Tom Brady has served as a mentor for Shedeur throughout his young college career. Brady won seven Super Bowls during his 23-year career in the NFL and knows a thing or two about working towards one’s game. Deion and Shedeur recently appeared on Brady’s ‘Let’s Go!’ Podcast, where Brady had some advice for Shedeur.

At the end of the podcast, Deion asked Brady if Shedeur, a college student, really needs a fancy car like a Rolls-Royce Phantom. Shedeur however, corrected his father saying his car is a ‘Rolls-Royce Cullinan’. Brady responded to that by saying, “I think he needs to get his a– in the film room. Spend as much time in there as possible. Less time in the car and more time in the film room.”

Deion thanked Brady, as Shedeur playfully mentioned that even Brady owns one. However, Brady was quick to remind Shedeur that he had some money back then. Shedeur’s NIL value is about $5.1 million, per On3, second only to LeBron James‘ son Bronny. Shedeur definitely has some money too!

Shedeur and the Buffs will play the Oregon Ducks in their next game on Saturday. It will be a tough test for Deion’s men. But in their current form, there is a chance for the Buff to come out on top.

Tom Brady opens up about mentoring Shedeur Sanders

Shedeur Sanders led a 98-yard touchdown drive against rivals Colorado State last Saturday. Later, he was asked about it after the game and he called his performance ‘Brady mode’– referring to Tom Brady. 7-time Super Bowl champ mentored Shedeur for a long time and he opened up about it on the Let’s Go! Podcast.

“I’m always here for him,” Brady said. “Because in him I see someone who has a great work ethic but wants the knowledge too. I think all of us on this call had so many people in our lives who allowed us to be successful. Obviously having great parents, but having these other instrumental people that come in at the right time when you’re open to learning.”

Shedeur has started the 2023 college football season on a tear. He already has 10 touchdowns and only one interception through three games with a completion percentage of 78.7%. He hopes to continue this form in the upcoming games and with Brady to lean on for advice, the sky is the limit for him.
